WOW! That was fun!
Thanks to all the exhibitors, participants, helpers and spectators for making our July 16 show n shine an amazing success!
Special thanks to the models from Baileys Shine Shop and the photographer. The ladies all worked so cheerfully at ensuring everyone had a chance to get their favorite ride involved in the fund raiser for heart and stroke.

Can't wait to see the edited photos and start working on the posters that will be made from them.

The on site cash donations from everyone atrending already raised $200 toward this fund raiser. Thank you all for your generosity.

The plan is for Baileys and Peachland Wheel Nuts to produce some beautiful posters, featuring your cars that will be sold (donations) to raise some more money for heart and stroke.

What do you think about that?
Pretty cool isn't it!

Feature Car Of the Week May 28

Owner: Cors Verhage

As you can tell, my passion is Cadillacs, especially the Allante. The bodies were designed and built in Italy by Pininfarina. Three Boeing 747 aircrafts were customized to hold 56 Allantés each. The 747's left Detroit with Eldorado chassis halves, instruments, air conditioning, steering column, and most of the electronics. The Pininfarina plant then cut and welded the two sub chassis together, installed the bodies and interior, painted them. The cars were then flown back to the Hamtramck Detroit assembly plant. In Detroit Cadillac installed the front and rear sub frames, suspension, drive train, steering box, brakes, fuel tank, wheels and the tires. This entire process was referred to as "The world's longest assembly line".
I am currently a member of the National Cadillac Allante Club in New Jersey and maintain their website from here in Peachland. Check it out www.cadillacallanteclub.com
